Caldwell commits to Texas

ALVIN, TX — 2019 Alvin CB Marques Caldwell wanted to stay closer to home. So when he de-committed from Oregon, he knew where he was headed.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback committed to Texas today. Caldwell held offers from Ole Miss, Colorado, Oregon, TCU, and Missouri among others, but ultimately the UT invitation was the most important.

FORT WORTH — Texas coach Tom Herman and his staff just added another piece to the puzzle.

FW All Saints’ Max Cummins committed to Texas tonight. The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder was recently offered by TCU and Baylor, and as soon as UT called, he came.
