I just applied for a job with Bioware in Austin. I even managed to get the girlfriend to agree to consider moving to Austin if I landed the gig. Moving out of the DFW Sucktroplex and this craptacular job to a job in Austin with my girlfriend in tow would be a serious upgrade to life. Plus, it would make stalking Clendon WAY easier. That's a win/win.

Trust me, that's not all it's cracked up to be. BTW, good luck on the Austin gig.

BWG - Back when I was only working part time for Inside Texas, I considered applying for a job at Bioware when one of their writing positions opened up. It looks like a really great, quickly growing company (I know I played the hell out of Mass Effect).

Best of luck to you, hopefully we'll have you here in Austin with us soon.

Yeah, Augusta, mine was away from Texas and now I am trapped. My only hope is to talk my wife into a 2nd house to use in the winter or better yet the fall.

TEN,

You and I are in the same type "trap." :((

So I've been working the "2nd home" in the Texas Hill Country angle with my Georgia wife for several years now. And of course we would live there mostly during the Fall. :-P

Maybe we could find a duplex. Just got back from a week in Texas. I like my life in Tenn., but damn if I don't miss Texas and I have been gone for a long time.

TEN,

You and I have the exact same plight. I like GA just fine. But, this summer will complete 20 years away from Texas for me...i.e. 20 years of wandering in the desert. For a long time I thought I would eventually miss Texas less and less. I was dead wrong...I miss home more now than ever. :((
