Cedric Benson and Jamal Charles both rushed for over 100 yards for their respective teams today. I love seeing ( or hearing about) when any of our former UT athletes are doing well

Bo Scaife came up with some big catches today as well. He also missed a TD because of blatant pass interference that wasn't called.

Good for those guys, it's always good to see this kind of news. Maybe Ricky can go for 100 too.

Charles could have just as easily been rushing for 100 in Lubbock last night.

His pay was better in KC.

Maybe but is pay would have been even better as a higher draft pick. Also the Unuversity gave him a chance and he could have repayed this school with one more year of service not running out on it high and dry. He would have been a big difference maker and ateam leader for a very young Horn team. Of course its about money all the time.

No, sometimes it's about family and maybe he just thought the best thing for his family was for him to move on. Are you this angry at every player that leaves school early?
They have to do what is best for them, not what's best for us as fans or even what's best for the university. Sometimes what they believe is best for them is to go to the next level.

I think people are just angry generally today... :(

I dont think I will answer you jackass question. If the family was that bad of and it was him who needed to make money then why was he in school or playing ball to begin with. Should he not be working. An no i am not angry at every kid that leaves school. First and second round picks are no brainers.

I'd love to see football adopt the baseball rules where you can be drafted before deciding whether to actually turn pro or stay in school another year.
Unfortunately for Jamaal, he had lots of people telling him he'd be better than where he eventually was.

Unfortunatley, players will leave when perhaps they should have stayed another year , but their are agents out there that will always persuade them that it is the right choice as there only concern is lining their pockets with money.
Does anyone know the injury status of Selvin Young?
