Seven years ago I had to install a Aerobic system. I had to sign a yearly maintenance contract which was a big gripe to me. Pay them to check out system quarterly. I am here 95% of time and only saw them check unit 3 times in all these years. When I complained they said they were checking system I just was not seeing them ( YEA). Today I received a letter from my local Health Department that my current contract was expiring in Nov. This letter informed me that as of Sept 2008 the TCEQ passed a ruling that single family systems could be maintained by the property owners. Enclosed was a form to fill out if I wanted to do this. The form I have is for Brazoria County in Texas. If anyone would like a copy of this form PM me. For those who want to do their own maintenance check with their local health dept for this form. I have always had to call for any repairs needed so I don't think I need to pay someone to tell me I have a problem.

Will, you have lost me. Why would you have to have a contract on an aerobic system? Maybe I just don't know what an Aerobic system is.

I'm picturing him getting his treadmill looked over a couple times a year. :))

Think septic system

Move back to the decadent South, we have sewer systems.

If I went further South I would be in the Gulf of Mexico. I just made a post for anyone who has a Aerobic Septic System. That they do not have to sign a contract with a septic service to come by quarterly to check system as I had been doing for seven years & taking their word they were coming bye. Since Sept 2008 single family owners can check their own systems and call for repairs or repair themselves when needed. Confused about your attitude about my post.

Hey, why wasn't this thread left on the Entertainment board? It's pretty entertaining. (;o))
