Anyone been there, got any sightseeing tips or do's and don'ts?

My wife needs to travel there this summer for biz and I'll probably go with.

Never been to Moscow but I really want to go. Its probably one of the top 3 places that I want to see.

Just through the airport and it was pretty strange, old planes scattered all over. Good thing it is a business trip as I understand it is pricey.

I'd research cabs in advance--seems to be a roaming rate from what I've heard from friends.

Tretyakov Gallery to see a great group of artists referred to as the Wanderers or Peredvizhniki. Repin and Serov are two favorites. In the states, there's a museum of Russian artwork in Minnesota.
