OU Texas student -lymphoma

Austin Woods from Rockwall, Texas has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. He is a soph OL and deep snapper on placements for OU. He found out last week and will undergo treatment therapy in Norman. His tweeter feed is @Awsome Woods_50 He has been getting all kinds of messages and even one from "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson, former Miami player offering encouragement.

He wants to be close to his teammates and his parents (Don and Elizabeth Woods) are moving to Oklahoma to also be close. Austin earned Academic All Big 12 in 2011. He's nicknamed "Thor" because of his long blond hair. He lost an arm wrestling contest to freshman Jake Reed to settle a bowling contest among offensive linemen.

Thoughts and prayers for Austin Woods~~I personally know someone who has also fought this dreaded disease and is doing well now after treatments~~wishing him a lifetime of health and happiness~~

I, too, have a niece who has survived this disease, and is doing well after more than 15 years from her last treatment. In complete remission.
