Default 2013 Top 159 National Football Recruit Rankings (Rev. 06/29/12)

2013 Top 159 National Football Recruit Rankings

Consensus from five major recruiting sites: (ESPN, Rivals, Scout, 247Sports, & Maxpreps)

AA = Army All-American UA = Under Armour All-American

Winner-margin = Recruiting site(s) which ranked that particular recruit the closest in margin to the consensus.

Loser-margin = Recruiting site(s) which ranked that particular recruit the farthest in margin to the consensus.

(+/-) = Movement up or down the ranking (as compared to the last Consensus ranking posted on 05/03/12).

*Note: All recruits were ranked by at least 4 of the 5 major recruiting sites above. Each recruit had their lowest ranking omitted from the calculation (including recruits that may not have been ranked by one of the 5 recruiting sites above. There are also some interesting totals listed after the rankings. (Updated on 06/29/12).

Love how you do this each year.

You're little list validates my long held opinion that A'Shawn is a better than Manning and the must get DT prospect in the state this year.

The iconic IT thread. Manny Diaz for DC.

If I had to pick a center [for an all-time best team], I would take Olajuwon. That leaves out Shaq, Patrick Ewing. It leaves out Wilt Chamberlain. It leaves out a lot of people.

Michigan has TWO of the top 5 QB's in the country?

Brady Hokes (sp?) is turning out to be one hell of a hire.

We have TWO of the top 5 OT's not bad!

Thanks, I appreciate that.

A'Shawn Robinson is ranked #46 and Justin Manning is ranked as #56 on this current Consensus list. A lot of recruiting experts think that Robinson would be a better OL going into college, as Manning is cosidered a more true DT prospect. I do believe that Robinson has a high ceiling than Manning, but Manning will probably make a more immediate impact in college due to the fact that he has more experience (as far as reps playing DT) and better technique right now.

Sorry for the confusion. The QB list got mixed up with the OG list on the composite positional rankings. Michigan has one QB in the top 5 listed QBs in this Consensus ranking, not two. The QB list looks like this:

1.) Max Browne - (USC) (4th overall)
2.) Tyrone Swoopes - (TEX) (7th overall)
3.) Shane Morris - (MICH) (17th overall)
4.) Ryan Burns - (STAN) (53rd overall)
5.) Cooper Bateman - (ALA) (54th overall)

It is true that Texas has two of the top two OTs on the list, but only if Raulerson ends up as an OT in college. He could play numerous positions in college, incuding:
TE, OG, DE, or OT. He needs to add weight. I believe Mack told him that they were recruiting him as DE and/or TE when he steps onto campus. I definitely think he ends up somewhere on the OL if he puts on good weight.

A'Shawn looks like he's strong as an Ox. I don't think Manning will ever bench 400.

Deoundrei and Hall not being on that list is a travesty. One of those national recruiting services has it all wrong.

Although true, and I agree with you, both have been getting noticed by a lot of schools lately as more film on them has been making the rounds. Deoundrei Davis, I believe, currently got ranked at #46 on Rivals Top 100, that was recently updated.

When I do this Consensus list again (around Signing Day) I wouldn't be surprised to see them both on the list.
