Before getting started, click here to open a new browser window to the Inside Texas home page so you can look at the site while it’s being described below.

*The menu bar to the right of the Inside Texas logo near the top of the page includes dropdown links to different parts of the site. A couple of notes: under the Football tab you’ll find links to stories, the schedule (where you can find our complete coverage of each game), the roster (including the Texas Football Roster Table) and the weekly depth chart. Under the Recruiting tab you’ll find links to stories, the Texas Prospect Database and commitment list, the Inside Texas Top 100 and more. The football prospect list has player pages including bios, rankings, scouting reports and story, photo and video links.

*Directly underneath the main story module are two clickable link boxes that will often direct you to breaking news, Members Only updates or game threads on the message boards.

*Aside from the main story with the large picture and headline, four other clickable featured stories can be found below the main story under the Featured Stories header. And directly beneath the four Featured Stories are eight Inside Texas Exclusives. These rotating exclusives have descriptions and links to recent prospect rankings, Inside Scoops, Podcasts, Report Cards, Culpepper Commentaries, etc.

*Just to the right of the main story is the Latest News module. The most recent story headlines are listed and clickable and clicking on the NEWS ARCHIVE link at the bottom of the list takes you to our Archive page, which includes a complete and searchable historical story list, plus a full Recruiting specific story archive in the near right column.

*Below the Latest News module and the advertisement is our ESPN video player. Clicking on the player will automatically start the current Featured Video, and below the video player is a list of currently available, Longhorn-related ESPN video content.

*Below the Latest News module is the ESPN portal, with clickable headlines from ESPN.com’s college football coverage.

*And finally, there’s the new InsideTexas.com forums. (Click here to open the forums in a new window.) There are four premium boards: Members Only, Inside Scoop and the Football and Basketball Coaches Corner. Members Only is just as named, a place for you, as an Inside Texas subscriber, to gather and discuss issues and to ask any of the Inside Texas staff team- or recruiting-related questions. The exclusive Inside Scoop is posted each Friday in the Inside Scoop forum. And the Coaches Corner forums are where you’ll find the weekly Report Cards after each football game and the Player Reports and Defensive Breakdown Chart after each basketball game, and where you can ask Coach Venable (Football) and Coach Cumro (Basketball) Xs and Os, scheme and personnel questions.
