In this edition of Mondays in the Humidor we’ll focus almost entirely on the team’s prospects as they go into spring ball. In the last week we’ve had eyes on every unit and there are some surprises to say the least. We’ll also talk a little bit about projections along the offensive line and defensive secondary that should come to fruition once the season starts. Also, we’ll talk a little bit about the plans to revamp the offense to match the skill set of the signal callers. Hint, it’s more Norvell than Watson which is a bit instructive. Finally there’s not much movement on the Rick Barnes front, but we’re told that the long time Texas coach has a puncher’s (read conference tournament win and a deep tourney run) chance to be retained as coach at the University of Texas. Like the scotch, the names to replace Barnes remain the same, inside the Humidor.
