In this abbreviated edition of Mondays in the Humidor with the Big Cigar we’re still talking summer conditioning but at least the kids have ceased practicing against air and are now in full blown 7-on-7 mode. Our sources indicate some of the younger kids have made an impact through the first full week of the “voluntary” passing sessions. We’ve also got a little more intel about the volatile AD situation which may give you an indication of how tenuous Steve Patterson’s situation is at the University. Finally, we’ve got a couple of morsels on what else Texas is doing to get prepared for next season and it’s not typically done at a place like Texas, at least not under Mack Brown, who, by the way, hated to be inside the Humidor.
