Belton QB David Ash, the No. 25 prospect on the Inside Texas 2011 Top 100, committed to Texas Saturday morning, joining WR Jaxon Shipley, LB Chet Moss, OL Taylor Doyle and WR Miles Onyegbule in the Horns' early recruiting haul.
ESPN.com's Gerry Hamilton received word Saturday morning from Belton head coach Rodney Southern that quarterback David Ash committed to Texas to become the Longhorns' fifth 2011 commit.
