Texas hasn't taken a high school tight end since M.J. McFarland in 2011. Two thousand and eleven. Sigh.

The new Longhorn staff is dead set on ending the drought in 2015 and with the in-state crop sparse, has looked out of state to fill the need.

The first offer at the position for Charlie Strong is Will Gragg from Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

As one of the nation's top tight ends, Gragg is in demand. He was kind enough to take a few minutes on a Saturday afternoon to talk about his newest offer.

Inside Texas: Congrats on the offer, man. Who has been recruiting you? Chris Vaughn?

Will Gragg: Thank you. I've been talking to Bruce Chambers.

Here are Gragg's highlights in case you missed them in the other thread:

IT: Along with UT who else has shown you a lot of interest?

WG: Offer wise I have Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Arkansas...

IT: So you can pick up the phone and pretty much go wherever you want?

WG: [laughing] No, I don't want to say all that.

IT: Did you grow up an Arkansas fan?

WG: I actually grew up a Texas fan since the VY days. I still have his jersey hanging on my wall. I didn't become an Arkansas fan until my brother went there.

IT: UT fans will be happy to hear that. Who is your brother?

WG: Chris Gragg; he plays tight end for the Bills now.

IT: Nice. So does that help with Arkansas chances?

WG: I'm still open. My brother played for Bobby Petrino and now there's an entirely new staff.

IT: What do you have planned as far as visits?

WG: I'm going to LSU next weekend and Alabama the weekend after that.

IT: Do you have plans to visit Texas?

WG: Coach Chambers told me about the junior days but I already had my plans made so we're going to stick to them. But I'm definitely going to take a visit.

IT: Alright, let's keep in touch and let me know when that visit takes place. I just followed you on Twitter and I'm trying to figure out how a high school junior has 4,000 followers.

WG: [laughing] I don't know! Alright, I'll let you know.
