Talking to two studs from the Eastside

The North Shore Mustangs have long been the Eastside Houston hegemon similar to their Westside counterparts, the Katy Tigers. That dominance won’t end any time soon as North Shore is on an amazing run of talent, even for them.

Different from years past, however, is the prevalence of talent at other Eastside schools. Both C.E. King and North Forest have national recruits on their rosters in the 2020 class.

Demond Demas is becoming a household name. The probable five-star receiver is currently committed to Texas A&M but he visited UT just a week after giving that pledge. He was spotted in Longhorn gear and throwing the hook’em like he was one of Jesus Shuttlesworth’s kids.

Also visiting for the USC game was Bryson Washington, a prospect who grew up not far from USC, but who also calls East Houston home.
