Junior linebacker Ayodele Adeoye has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, Inside Texas has learned.

Adeoye was a member of the class of 2018 and committed to the Longhorns over Oklahoma and Illinois. He attended Ritenour High School in Missouri before moving to IMG Academy in Florida for his senior year.

In 2018, Adeoye used the four-game redshirt rule and appeared versus Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, and Georgia. He played in every game in 2019 and started 10 times at linebacker. In 2020, he played in two games early in the season but missed the rest of the year due to a shoulder injury requiring surgery.

He recorded 55 career tackles with 3.0 for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception during his Texas career.
