Senior offensive lineman Denzel Okafor has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, a source tells Inside Texas. Matt Zenitz of AL.com first reported the news.
Okafor intends to be a graduate transfer. Originally a member of the class of 2016, Okafor appeared in 39 games as a Longhorn. He played in 10 games his freshman year, mostly on special teams.
In 2017, Okafor played in 12 games, starting four. He received extended action at both tackle spots. When Connor Williams went down with a knee injury, he played and started at left tackle in all four games in October.
Okafor took advantage of the four-game redshirt rule in 2018, appearing in just one game. In 2019, he mostly appeared on special teams.
