NTXHORN,

Your "butt avatar" ain't shakin 'cause you've got your foot shoved in it. Remove your foot and I'm sure it will shake the way you expect.

NTH -- to make it shake, you have to pour the Ripple directly into your CD-drive.

NTH, it must have something to do with your flux capacitor.

NTXHORN,

Just logged on and see your avatar still shakin' away on my screen.

I'm thinking you've got so much Ripple in you that your brain is sloshin' around faster in your skull than the avatar is on your screen. There's a biopsychological term for it known as motion parallax.

Here's the definition of the term:

1. apparent change of position: an apparent change in the position of an object when the person looking at the object changes position

IOW, your eyes are bouncing around so fast they can't see the damn avatar jigglin' around itself.

My advice would be to put your head in a vise, have the wife tighten it down real good and see if that'll help. If that don't work, dry out for a week and get back with me.

who'da thunk that a thread devoted to NTH making an ass of himself (literally!) would have resulted in the bandying about of terms such as flux capacitor and motion parallax.

Not shaking on my screen either. I tried moving my monitor back and forth but that just didn't have the desired effect.
