First off, North Shore 2021 offensive guard prospect Jaeden Roberts is in very good shape for a big man. He's a 6-foot-4, 365-pound big man with plenty of athleticism.

Roberts remains solidly committed to Auburn, but he did say Alabama is telling him they have a spot for him. North Shore 2021 QB and Auburn commit Dematrius Davis said as much too. Alabama would probably like nothing more than to flip an Auburn commit that's a very high ceiling prospect from the same high school team as the Auburn QB commit in the same class.

Roberts grew up with LSU as his favorite, but the Bayou Bengals never came calling.

Oklahoma State still continues to try and change the mind of Roberts, but only Alabama has a realistic shot as of today.

Simultaneous laugh cry; ALA & AUB have stronger ties to North Shore than Texas

There was a time in recent history it was Texas then everybody else when it came to recruiting North Shore players

Interesting. Do you know if Davis’ hypothetical open spot at Alabama is as a QB or ATH?

Also, Roberts was a move in last year, right?

It would have to be QB. He’s not an elite athlete.

Then that seems like a weird move to tell him has a spot, given they have Milroe. Davis can absolutely play QB at the college level, but given the context I have to imagine he’s much better served going to Auburn than getting buried on the depth chart at Bama.

Take all the QBs you want. Especially from your neighbor.

Man I really think Milroe should've committed to Miami if he is purely concerned with playing time. Alabama is gonna make him compete for playing time. At Miami he could start as a freshman

Which means, Saban said come to Bama and be our QB. Then when you arrive they tell you after you RS, we really need help at WR or DB and want you to play at that position. We have our QB firm for the next 2 years, so if you want to see the field play another position. Some Coach's will never tell you the truth.

No, it would mean if you want to play transfer as he can’t play another position.

You might just be right. Time will tell soon.
I guess but watching him play he isn't nearly athletic enough to play a skill position. He's not near Rochon Johnson level. Not too mention DB/WR at Bama is basically the most talented positions groups in the country. I think its moot as he'll stick with Auburn.

I'm sure it was A&M's dream to be the SEC school in the state and to finally get that little boost in influence and here they are still 10 years later getting cucked by the rest of the West in recruiting, too...

They figured, dumb move by even Aggie standards, that moving to the SEC would mean they would get any recruit in Texas they wanted, but alas the stupid mfers just opened the door for all other SEC shools to recruit our State. Even a blind, deaf, mute, moron could have seen that coming, but not the vaunted 12th Man group. How many times have they played for the SEC title since they joined almost 10 years ago.
