A few weeks ago the Louisiana product told Inside Texas that that the Longhorns were his favorite school, especially after UCLA quit recruiting him due to them filling their point guard need. It turns out it was a lot sooner than later. The rising senior has become known as an elite point guard due to his ability to run the offense and get the ball to the open man. One thing that Barnes and staff liked about him was his high end motor and the ‘never quit’ attitude that he displays.
