In this edition of Mondays in the Humidor the Big Cigar we’ve got a little bit of team news that builds on to what we’ve hinted at in the mini-Humidor last week. Tommie Robinson has left his post and new offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert has some replacement names he’d like to pursue to help implement his offense. A new running back coach and potentially a new wide receiver coach could be tantamount to pan-searing brisket before the young OC puts it in the microwave. We’ll also discuss recruiting a bit on both the football and basketball sides of the aisle. Finally, we have some Cigar news about the state of the program. With the country in full politics mode, our source chimes in about what the big boosters are saying behind the scenes about the health of the program. We’ll also address an interesting rumor about Texas’ new favorite son who happens to be coaching at the University of Houston. Hint, there are rumblings that he’s soured on Texas recently and the Cigar will give his thoughts on what he’s hearing and more, inside the Humidor.
