Optimizing the Longhorns Offense

The Texas offense is pretty far down the list of problems for the Longhorn football team.

Particularly, given that the list of problems starts with things like:

1. Composition of the coaching staff
2. Coaching
3. Entire back 7 of defense
4. Specials teams
5. Tackling
6. Basic game management
7. Knowledge of football rules
8. Feelings of loss, anxiety and bowel dysphoria

It makes plenty of sense that an offense averaging 517 yards per game with a 261 per game rushing average – the best Texas rushing output since the days of VY – isn’t top of mind when detailing our problems.

Particularly when the defense is padding opponent QB passer ratings like a Millennial’s self-esteem.
