With over 50 prospects on hand for Saturday's Orange-White game, the feedback was good as the attendance was surprising. And that's one of the reasons for these scrimmages; to have fun, generate excitement in the program, and wrap up Spring ball in a positive manner. Mission accomplished.
AUSTIN - On a gorgeous sunny day at DKR, the Texas Longhorns held their Student Appreciation Day and first scrimmage of the Spring. While the crowd was small, the enthusiasm was large as people got to see outside of an expanded social media contingent what Tom Herman's been cooking in his laboratory since his arrival in December. There were big plays, potentially important injuries, and big hits. Physicality was in full effect.
