After yesterday's fun-filled Humidor stacked with official visitor weekend and some surprises for this Texas recruiting Class of 2019, we bring the latest from the team, injury report, and more recruiting as we inch closer to National Signing Day next Wednesday. It's the Humidor - Saturday Edition.
Other than recruiting there isn't a whole lot in the off-season to tide us over other than talking about the team. Because of that, most of you know the current roster about as well as anyone. However, I do find it a worthwhile exercise to reassess each position and player one more time ahead of the season as a way to resharpen our familiarity with each.
AUSTIN -- It seems the Longhorns dip into Louisiana a few times a cycle to grab some under-the-radar prospects. Mike Williams is no exception. The 3-star athlete from Dunham School (Baton Rouge, LA) committed to Texas today over offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State among others. The 6-foot3, 240-pounder played QB in high school and will move to the defensive side of the ball in college.
