Williams crosses TX-LA border, picks Texas

AUSTIN -- It seems the Longhorns dip into Louisiana a few times a cycle to grab some under-the-radar prospects. Mike Williams is no exception. The 3-star athlete from Dunham School (Baton Rouge, LA) committed to Texas today over offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State among others. The 6-foot3, 240-pounder played QB in high school and will move to the defensive side of the ball in college.
