At first sight, it's hard to believe the 6-foot-5 prospect from Kansas is a safety. After you learn he's a sophomore and watch him compete, you realize you've stumbled upon big-time potential. My first thought was UT's DeMarvion Overshown. There are similarities in each's size, speed, and demeanor.
The in-state strength of the class is exactly where you need it to be to win at a championship level — on the defensive line. Texas will have to nail that group. Linebacker numbers should be easy to meet. The defensive back-field is equipped with some good players but the talent is only decent by instate standards.
