The kickoff time and television network for Texas’ trip to Fayetteville to face the Arkansas Razorbacks was announced Tuesday. The Southwest Conference rivalry will be renewed on September 11 at 6 p.m. at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and will air on ESPN.

The television network for the Red River Shootout between Texas and Oklahoma on October 9 was also announced. The game will be aired on the ESPN family of networks, one of ESPN or ABC. A time was not announced for the 117th meeting between the two teams.

Texas and Arkansas have met five times since the Razorbacks left the Southwest Conference for the Southeastern Conference. Arkansas won the contests in 2000, 2003, and the most recent game between the two programs in the 2014 Texas Bowl. Texas topped the Razorbacks in 2004 in Fayetteville and in 2008 in Austin.

The Longhorns lead the all time series 56-22.

The annual matchup between Texas and Oklahoma will once again take place at the Cotton Bowl. The Sooners have won the last two contests at the Cotton Bowl on the second Saturday of October. Texas will be the home team for the 2021 edition.
