The OU Problem

A continuing theme this recruiting cycle is the return to prowess of our old nemesis, Oklahoma, within the state of Texas. Previously, the combined efforts Mack Brown and Charlie Strong had OU exiled to the Midwest and edges of the country, but in this calendar Bob Stoops has orchestrated a rebirth, at least for the time being.

To wit, OU is the biggest out-of-state recruiting threat to UT. More so than Ohio State, LSU, or Alabama, and a bigger threat than any in-state school. It’s been a while since that could credibly be written.
