Contract figures for Steve Sarkisian and most of his assistant coaching staff are now public and set to be approved by the University of Texas Board of Regents next week.

The agenda listing contract information can be found here.

Sarkisian’s contract is for six years and pays $34.2 million, starting with a $5.2 million salary in 2021. His total annual salary and payment to a potential limited liability corporation begins at $5.2 million and increases annually by $200,000 until it reaches $6.2 million in the sixth year of the contract.

Texas will also give Sarkisian a one-time, $1.2 million payment on December 31, 2024 based upon his continued employment. Sarkisian can earn $100,000 for winning national coach of the year, $50,000 for conference coach of the year, and up to $675,000 for other performance incentives.

In addition to this monetary compensation, Sarkisian will have the perks typically available to the Longhorns head coach including a suite at every home game, two dealer cars, and social club membership.

Texas also will make a one-time payment to the University of Alabama to “satisfy a contractual obligation owed as a result of the voluntary termination of Head Coach’s previous employment agreement.”

Offensive coordinator Kyle Flood, defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski, and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks all are making north of $1 million. Each received three-year, guaranteed deals. Flood’s starting salary is $1.1 million but can increase to $1.25 million by year three. Banks begins at $1 million and can rise to $1.1 million. Texas will pay Kwiatkowski $1.7 million per year through payments to PK Enterprises, LLC.

Texas also plans to pay Banks’ Alabama buyout.

Wide receivers coach Andre Coleman will make $450,000 then $500,000 during his two-year deal. Running backs coach will earn $650,000 per year on a two-year deal.

Details for AJ Milwee’s contract were not listed in the agenda.

Defensive line coach Bo Davis’s three-year, guaranteed contract pays $875,000 in year one, $900,000 in year two, and $925,000 in year three. Linebackers coach Jeff Choate is on a two-year deal that pays $500,000 in year one and $575,000 in year two. Safeties coach Blake Gideon will make $825,000 total on a two-year deal, and defensive pass game coordinator Terry Joseph will make $1.5 million of the life of his two-year contract.

Texas will also pay the buyouts for Choate, Gideon, and Joseph at their previous employers.

Finally, director of football performance Torre Becton was given a two-year contract that pays $500,000 in the first year and $525,000 in the second.
